Game Time Events USA, LLC

2025-2026 Participant Waiver and Release of Liability,
Assumption of Risk, Consent, and Media/NIL Release

By entering the premises, facilities, or parking areas of any event, program, or activity operated, hosted, or sanctioned by Game Time Events USA, LLC (“GTE USA”), including tournaments, leagues, showcases, practices, or camps (collectively, the “Events”), each participant, parent/guardian of a participant, coach, official, spectator, contractor, and attendee (collectively, “Attendees”) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Implied Consent by Entry

By entering or remaining on the Premises—including parking lots and all areas forward—you acknowledge and agree that your presence constitutes voluntary and binding consent to this Waiver, regardless of whether a physical or electronic signature has been executed. If you do not agree, you must immediately leave the premises.

2. Consent for Minors

Any participant under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian consent to this Waiver. For children age 13 or under, a parent/guardian or coach must complete this release on their behalf.

3. Release of Liability

I hereby release and forever discharge GTE USA, its owners, directors, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, successors, assigns, contractors, facility operators, sponsors, and partners (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to any loss, theft, property damage, injury, illness (including but not limited to communicable diseases such as COVID-19), or death sustained by me or my child(ren) in connection with attending, participating in, or being present at the Events or on the Premises. This release applies whether caused by negligence, gross negligence, or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in and attendance at athletic events involves significant risks, including but not limited to serious injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death. These risks are not limited to players, but also extend to coaches, parents/guardians, and spectators. Such risks may arise from playing conditions, facilities, seating arrangements, equipment, weather, being struck by balls or other objects, slips, trips, falls, or the acts or omissions of others, including other participants and attendees. I further acknowledge that seating at events may not be ideal and carries its own risks, including the potential for falls or injuries. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks for myself and/or my child(ren), whether expected or unexpected, known or unknown.

5. Medical Authorization

I authorize GTE USA and its representatives to secure emergency medical, hospital, or dental treatment for myself or my child(ren) in the event of injury, illness, or other emergency, and I agree to be financially responsible for all related costs. I also authorize communication between GTE USA and medical providers as necessary to arrange treatment.

6. Public Health & Communicable Diseases (Including COVID-19)

I acknowledge that GTE USA cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, and that participation or attendance inherently involves such risks. I voluntarily accept and assume these risks and waive any claims against the Released Parties relating to exposure, infection, or spread.

7. Media & NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) Release

I grant GTE USA the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to record, use, reproduce, publish, display, broadcast, modify, or distribute my or my child(ren)’s name, image, voice, likeness, biographical information, performance, statistics, or other identifying information (“NIL Materials”) in any media or format now known or later developed, for any lawful purpose including marketing, livestreams, promotions, sponsorships, commercial use, or NIL-related activities, without compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve such uses.

8. Online & Social Media Distribution

I understand and consent that once NIL Materials are posted on GTE USA websites, social media accounts, or other channels, content may be shared, reposted, or redistributed by third parties beyond GTE USA’s control. I release GTE USA from any liability relating to such distribution.

9. Collection & Use of Personal Information

I acknowledge that GTE USA may collect limited personal information (e.g., statistics, achievements, awards) for purposes of record-keeping, promotion, or event management. If I wish to restrict such use, I must notify GTE USA in writing prior to participation.

10. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties against any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from my or my child(ren)’s actions, participation, or presence at the Events.

11. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This Waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the Event is held. Any dispute arising under this Waiver shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the host county of that Event, or, at GTE USA’s election, through binding individual arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. I waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.

12. Acknowledgment of Understanding

I acknowledge that I have read this Waiver, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I intend this Waiver to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and if any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Unknown & Future Claims

This release applies to all claims, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, arising from the Events. Where applicable (including but not limited to California Civil Code §1542). I expressly waive all rights regarding unknown claims, which states:

“A general release does not extend to claims that the releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the released party.”

I knowingly and voluntarily waive such rights and agree that this is a full and complete release of liability of any nature whatsoever, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

By entering the Premises and/or completing registration, I acknowledge and agree to this Waiver and Release.
